Make Your Own .Mac

This guy has a great article on making your own .Mac server. If you’re like me, spending $99 a year on a limited hosting service with very limited transfer speeds and storage space is insane. I already have multiple hosting accounts with multiple providers, as well as my own home server I’ll be setting up in the next few months. Why can’t I use those in the same fashion as others use .Mac, but to a greater, more functional degree?

Check this article out for info on how he did it. I might use my dreamhost account, or maybe use my own server when I get it up and running.
